Hi,

I put a temperature gauge in the dryer and let it run for a while, the temp. reading never got above 150 degrees fahrenheit.

Newer GE dryer will cycle approx 135-150F at the exit of the dryer.

I have confirmed that there is no blockage anywhere in the vent tube from the dryer to where it vents outside.

And in the dryer itself, and the lint filter?
One of the 2 elements is not broken?...or the element(s) are not grounded?
