Jeff,
When I had the dryer apart I thoroughly inspected the blower housing and internal vent tube and found no blockage anywhere. So I would be really surprised if it is a ventilation problem.
As for your statement to check for grounding, the instructions that came with the heater coils spoke of this and I made sure to inspect each coil as well as each insulated stand-off. I could not see any point where either the two coils where touching &/or touching the metal heat shroud. I realized this is not as absolute as using a voltmeter to check resistance or continuity.
As for your statement that 135-150F is a normal temp range at exit, I guess that surprised me.
After all the work I did on this dryer it is taking it over 1hr and 30 minutes just to dry a medium size load of cottons. Doesn't seem way too long?
