I have a 1950 O'Keefe & Merrit 40" range that I just got from my great uncle. Undoubtedly, it needs a little work, but it's in pretty good shape over all.
Tonight, when we got it all hooked up, we tested the burners and the griddle. We got all the pilots lit, but even after we lit the two separate pilots (left - Grillevator; right - broiler/oven), we could not get the oven or the Grillevator to actually ignite. The pilots light and stay lit, however.
Is there a separate supply line to the lower compartments that might be turned off? There's no smell of gas like it's just not lighting--the supply is not there. What should I check first? or what are possible problem/solutions?
Thanks again, guys.
