Help! I have a 1999 Hotpoint dishwasher that had appeared to be clogged a few months ago. I took off the mesh cover and removed the little trap inside but
could find no significant food/etc. blocking. I also took off the hose to the disposal and tried to feel with a hanger for clogs. Nope. After putting it back
together it resumed running and no longer retained a tub full of water. Well, it started back again a few days ago with foul water aplenty. I bailed and bailed
and then repeated the above process with no luck. Like a doofus I put some Liquid Plumr in and now the tub is full of fume-y water. I've tried to run it
out with no luck, have bailed and also tried to dilute with limited success. Now what? I don't know what's keeping it from draining, and I don't
know how to get the clog remover out. Help! Thanks!
