The drain motor runs continually.
Various posts imply a bad fill valve or a stuck float.
Can anyone supply the test procedure for this.
There is a web site for testing various Bosch models but not this one.

Water can be sopped up from under the d/w ( kick panals off ), inside the base ( towels, sponge, ect )....but must find why the water is in the base....leak, too much soap, ect. jeff. |

OK, I didn't quite understand the water in the base issue, there isn't any.
Once I was able to remove the side panels (star screws - trip to Lowe's :-( I could see inside the base of the unit. We have had a mouse get into it and the mouse has partially consumed the styrofoam disk that the grey plasttic lever base to the red float rod sits on. Could this be a problem? Thanks -roddy |

Hi Jeff,
After removing the old float disc, installing a new one and plumbing the washer back in it seems to work ok. One thing though, is that when the machine drains, the noise from the drain motor seems a lot louder than before, not at all times, but several times during a complete wash cycle. Since the machine went into flood mode in the middle of the night and it took a while for us to notice that the drain motor was running continuously, do you think it could have been damaged? Thanks -roddy |

Since the machine went into flood mode in the middle of theIt is possible yes. One thing though, is that when the machine drains, the noise from Unless the noise is terrible or unbearable, -I'd- leave it until the drain pump quits or gets worse.
