My wife tried to start our washer, model# PAV2300AWW, this morning but it wouldn't start filling after she pulled out the timer knob. Now, it pops the GFI
outlet as soon as you plug the washer in, no matter what cycle the timer position is in. We also tried to plug the washer in to a different outlet, but it
still pops other GFI's. Do you have any suggestions where to start troubleshooting? Thanks very much!

Hi,
Now, it pops the GFI outlet as soon as you plug the washer in, no matter what cycle the timer position is in. We also tried to plug the washer in to a different outlet, but it still pops other GFI's.Odd! 
Since it matters not what spot the timer is set on ( fill, spin, agitate, wash, rince, ect ), checking the power cord and wires in the consol would be a good place to start. maybe a critter ( mouse ) chewed through something or was electrocuted while chewing on aoemthing causing the dead short. Back comes off the consol for access....
