Hello -- I have an amana bottom freezer ARB220RCW from Sears -- about 3-4 years old. Every few months it starts leaking water from the freezer because the
funnel-shaped drain ices up and then water can't drain into the pan below. I thaw it completely, making sure there is no ice left in drain-funnel or drain
tube, but it always recurs. The defrost unit works -- coils don't ice over. Any suggestions on how to keep the drain from plugging w/ ice? Thanks -- Mark

Hi,
The defrost unit works -- coils don't ice overYupper, that's how we get the water to make the ice...the defrost cycle melts the frost. Every few months it starts leaking water from the freezer because the funnel-shaped drain ices up and then water can't drain into the pan belowFlush/blow out the drain system really good.
