Hi,

Hard to get the dryer to start. Have to play with cycle control knob to get to start. Sometimes only starts when on timed drying around the 20 minute mark.

Push to start switch and or timer would be prime suspect. Can be ohmed for continuity using the wire diagram that comes with the dryer ( sometimes in the consol, sometimes glued on the back, sometimes glued inside the cabinet body ). Bad relay in the start switch, burnt/blackened timer contact, broken mechanical part inside the timer would be suspects.
