I have a choice between a Whirlpool RBD275PVB 27" double oven for $1425 or a Frigidaire GLEB27T9F at $1202. Do you see any quality issues or better
feature issues here between the 2?
My Old RBD275PDB2 was set to 350 for 40 minutes last night to cook a lasagne and when I went to check on it, the oven was on self clean and door locked. I turned power off and jiggled the lock to get my well done lasagna out, but then when I turned the power back on it still said cln COOL and stayed locked. It stayed that way for 5 hours at which time I turned the power off after midnight to get to bed. Then 9 hours later, I turned the power back on and all was DEAD........NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! I called a repair guy and told him the story and he said it's the control panel. Anyway, that part is not made anymore by Whirlpool or anyone else. Thats why I have to choose between these 2 ovens.
Thanks for any help & advise,
