I looked on a website to troubleshoot what a F11 code problem is. One site said to Check Wire Harness between the MCU and CCU. How do I get to the Wire Harness between the MCU and CCU to check? Front or back of washer? Screws?

Hi,
F11 - I found: Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly. Possible Causes / Procedure 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check wire harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 3. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components. 4. Plug in washer or reconnect power. 5. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle. 6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor. 7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations. 8. Check
that the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the MCU connectors.

I unplugged and then plugged all of the circuit plugs on the CCU. Still getting the F11 at the very end of the cycle (last 2 minutes of the end of the entire
cycle). I did not mess with the plugs on the left side of the CCU. Should I focus on #11 circuit on the CCU? Next step would be to take the front panel off and
check the MCU connections. any thoughts?

Next step would be to take the front panel off and check the MCU connectionsA good plan! Should be 2-3 screws under the front bottom to remove the access panal. jeff. |

I took the front panel off an checked all MCU connections. Everything looked fine. Is my next step to replace the CCU unit. Should I go new or used? any
thoughts or reccommendations. Steve
