I was curious if anyone else has decent working cordless drills etc. that work perfectly with the exception of the batteries? Let me think, in the Sears line (Ryobi) I have a 12V drill, 16.8 drill with zero good batteries and an 18V drill/saw down to one good battery. It seems that every time I consider a battery I am led toward a new outfit because for twice the price of the battery you can get a new drill/light/charger and two batteries. Of course these new tools will be a couple of volts more than the last set. It seems as well as the tools hold up someone would be making an affordable battery replacement. I can't stand to toss the tools but I'm up to 19.2 volt stuff and know in a year or two they will need batteries as well
